Truth  or  Dare

Anonymous
I dare you to look me in the eyes
And tell me I mean the world to you
The sun, the moon, the stars
The entire galaxy

I can’t quite say that I love you back
I’ve never felt it like you have
I can’t remember the last time
I said those words out loud

I dare you to tell me what love means
I don’t know what it’s supposed to be
The rush of excitement I feel
When I get to see you
Remembering your scent
And every moment attached to it
Trying not to cry
Because you said I was enough
Is that love?

Maybe I do know how it feels
To know the difference between like and love
Is it fated to end like every other?
Will it last?
Dare me to say it
Maybe I will
