Dramatic as it sounds, I’ve been sitting on this cloud for who knows how long? My hand clenched tightly on my bow and golden arrows, having it twitch every now and then. The same figure continued to sit on the empty highway as I spectated it. Every raindrop was screaming for them to move with every splash of puddle on the road.
My job is to bring love, not to bring sadness, so how in the world did this happen? One mistake could lead to a major problem. And it is my job to fix them. Just watching from above won’t do me any good.
But being faced with a mortal causes me consequences. All I can do is pray, pray their loved one will chase after them. Pray that they will be forgiven and everything will be cured. The figure’s feet slowly tapped to the tune of rain.
Continuing to sit there I began to question, what were they waiting for? Rain began to pour drastically, like a heavy waterfall that seems to last forever. But from above, the latiblue cloud sat underneath me nicely. The petrichor smell began to climb above and slowly invade the heavenly ground.
My own pair of eyes took a glimpse of the figure finally standing up from its position. A smile creeped on their faces as they approached the middle of the empty road. They weren’t alone, a car came forward. But-
It doesn’t seem like it’ll stop. Speeding at the speed of zeus’ thundering arrows. They’ll die.
Move, goddamn it move! Staying there any longer won’t be good news. Are they out of their minds?! How can a person drive this fast!-- Screeeeeech!
The noise made me shut my eyes in fear. When I look back up, the lonesome figure layed gently on the heavenly water cried from mother nature. The color of hearts spread across the wet blanket, spreading its long forgotten fate. Fragile raindrops speckled on their faces like the mist from a springfall.
Sirens wail from the other end of the highway. It’s my time to go, only I could be blamed for my mistake. I caused it. I’m the problem.
I’m sorry, love.
